WestCoast Challenge: Financial Update – 2016 Budget

Thank you again to all the churches and partners for your prayers and financial support to the ministries of WBA!

The 2016 general fund budget that we adopted is a challenging budget. We are seeing a 24% decrease in Income compared to the 2015 budget. There are three main reasons for this decrease. One is lower investment income from the CNBC foundation fund. Second is the low contribution predicted for More Than A Legacy. Lastly, we will not have the church planting contribution from a major member church.

Thank you again to all the churches and partners for your prayers and financial support to the ministries of WBA! We ask you to pray for our association's financial situation.

Correspondingly, we are trying to cut back our expenses next year. This includes cutting hours to our association office administrator, reduce missionary support to Friends of Natives significantly, reduce our printing and postage expenses and reduce our Hub contribution. Even with all the cut backs, we are forecasting a deficit of $13,482.
