Pray for the activity of God…

We pray for the final opportunity of several of our leaders to pull away for a few days of much needed vacation with family and loved ones. We are praying for the refreshment of bodies and the renewal of hearts for the ministry. We are also praying for laughter as families have the opportunity to play together.

We ask for your prayers for a team of our leaders who will leave families to travel to Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia over the next two weeks to visit with new and old partner churches to talk and pray about the future of our work in Vancouver. Pray for sensitivity to the voice and activity of God to be witnessed by all during these days.

We continue to pray for the healing of broken relationships created over the past two years in one of our churches as the legal proceedings grind to an end. We pray for the priority witness of Christ each day as publications report the findings.

We pray for the Summer Youth Celebration and the over 150 young people who will travel to Gordom Lake the last week in August. This week we pray for the decisions these students will make during this focused experience with Christ and the community of faith. We pray for the wisdom of leaders to respond effectively with the sensitivity to working of the Spirit in each life.

We begin praying for the launch of a church focused on reaching the people of Pakistan living in Vancouver, by a planter who has completed the assessment process. We pray for reuniting of his family from Pakistan and Toronto.

Pray these words over our cities…

This week as you spend time in personal prayer may we ask you to pray for the leaders of our region to receive this portion of Scripture and allow it to transform their lives as they experience the Joy of seeing Jesus and understand they are a sent people..

After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

John 20:20-21 NIV

We thank you for praying for the items listed on this pray post whenever you have the opportunity to pray. As we continue to plant all kinds of churches in all kinds of spaces for all kinds of people, we invite you to join many of us each day at 10:02 am/pm, as we pause briefly wherever we are to pray for God to call out workers for the harvest in the manner of Luke 10:2.
