We invite you to pray for these items whenever you have the opportunity to pray. Each day at 10:02 am/pm, we invite you to join a growing group who pause briefly wherever they are to pray for God to call out workers for the harvest in the manner of Luke 10:2 This week join us in praying for the Kingdom of God to be experienced in the city of Vancouver and for the words of this passage to become the focus of every leader in our area.

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well..... Matthew 6:31-33

Pray with Thanksgiving…

We are thankful God has been glorified and comfort has been given as the Romanian community gathered this weekend to celebrate the life and death of Dina Jeler, wife of Flavius and daughter of Corneliu and Florica Ardelean, pastors for Bethel Romanian Church in Abbottsford. The gospel was proclaimed to the lost and faith was affirmed for the believer. Continue to pray for the family in the days ahead.

We are thankfully praying for baptism of 12 planned for Sunday at Canvas Church on Vancouver Island and for the 3 planned at Towers Baptist Church for June 21. Pray for the witness of these testimonies to be used in reaching the lost in the community.

We are celebrating God’s use of Victor Thomas this week as he gave insights to hundreds of leaders as they made choices about policies that impact Kingdom opportunities on universities across Canada.

We are celebrating the arrival and beginning orientation of our three Gen Send mobilizers. Pray for their preparation and final arrangements for their teams will arrive latter this month.

We are celebrating the volunteers from Westlyn Baptist Church who have been used this weekend as volunteers with the Lynn Valley Days community celebration. Pray this will open doors for further ministry.

Pray for the activity of God…

We are praying for the leadership of three (3) possible partner churches who will be arriving this week with Dr. Crawford and Steve Seaberry from Texas to meet and pray with leaders in our area about possible partnership with out planters in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. We are also praying for the eight (8) possible regional advocates that are currently considering this option.

Pray for the leader from Pakistan who will be baptized in Toronto this morning in obedience to the Father as he prepares for a possible ministry in Church planting among his people here is Vancouver.

Pray for the potential planters as they seek the Father about the possibility of planting a church on Salt Spring Island and among the Filipino people of the Lower Mainland.

We are praying this week for a faithful leader and his family who will spend the last two days of this week laying their mother to rest. Pray for their comfort and affirmation during these days.

Our first mission teams of summer will begin arriving to work with churches next weekend. Pray for good travel and prepared hearts for those on the teams as well as among the people they will be doing ministry.
