Pray VancouverEach Day at 10:02 am/pm each day, we ask you to pray for God to call out workers for the harvest. The work is hard and people are facing challenges of all kinds. We ask you to join us.

Allow yourself to be guided by these words as if you are hearing personally the voice of each of our leaders calling out to you.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
– Ephesians 6:18-20

PRAY WITH THANKSGIVING…

We continue celebrating reports from Easter weekend as we heard the report from Ekklesia which saw over 150 come to a block party in a new area of the community on Thursday with several of the new families from this event joining on Good Friday with over 250 in attendance. God continues to work as they look to a mission trip in Nepal.

We also celebrate the care given by the counselor team from Hardin Simmons to over 20 families in four sites around our Association. They were also able to join one of River Community in providing community support to families and children that had experienced the death of a young teen in a family home fire during the week.

We celebrate the return of Rhonda Forlow from the mission trip to a South African orphanage to provide educational planning and care to the children. We continue to pray for the children.

We celebrate the baptism of another person at The Common Place today and the beginning of a Sunday evening gathering beginning in May.

We celebrate the visit of youth leaders who participated in the site visit this week for the P2 week of training and church planting which will be guided by Josh Arrington. Pray for Josh’s preparation and the travel of young people to come and serve in Vancouver in July.

PRAY FOR THE ACTIVITY OF GOD…
