God’s Provision
I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:10-13 ESV
Join us in praying over the activity of God…
As our churches gather on this Sunday morning, we are praying for spiritual encouragement and strengthening of our Pastors as they prepare to proclaim the Gospel clearly and powerfully. Pray for the centrality of the Scripture to be the focus of each time together. Pray for the open hearts of the members in order that the Word can be implanted in each life to bring the transformation the Father desires.
As Zona Cero is making final plans to take their next mission trip March 14-22 to Columbia to work with the First Baptist Church in Riohacha, La Guajira seeking to provide food, clothing and water for the community as they share Christ, we asking for the resources needed and the health of each member to be protected as they prepare and travel.
As we have several Korean Church Plants seeking to build strong churches, we are praying that each planter will be encouraged and given a clear vision for the next steps to reach the lost in their community.
As the vision meeting for a new Church Plant in Maple Ridge guided by Kevin McArthur for those in the Biker Community took place on Saturday evening, we asking for the guidance of the Spirit of God to lead in the planting of this new group.
As the leadership team holds their first planning meeting today for the 2016 Summer Youth Celebration, we are asking for commitment, creativity, wisdom and resources for each young person who will be a part of the camp this summer.
As the next BGCT Vision Tour prepares to come to Vancouver on Monday, we are praying for sensitivity to the Spirit’s work in the lives of each church plant they will visit and for the resources needed for new projects.
As this week we conduct the third Refocus Retreat for pastoral leaders in our area, we are praying for divine insights and the confirmation of the Spirit in the hearts of each participant as we grow personally in our ability to guide discipleship systems in our churches.
As the leaders of our coaching effort are beginning to match planters with coaches, we are praying the relationships will be established quickly and the efforts will result in Kingdom expanding results.
As several of our pastors are seeking to clarify and finalize their permanent resident status in Canada, we are praying they will receive favour from our government and hear positive reports with clear steps to the future in order to provide greater stability for their families and churches.
Please pray with Gratitude…
For the visit this week of 4 leaders from Mississippi and Texas who encouraged and listened to the vision for reaching Vancouver and began discussions on how they could partner to provide support and care for our planters in the region.
