Each Day at 10:02 am/pm each day, we ask you to pray for God to call out workers for the harvest. This week allow your daily times of pray to use these words to guide your prayers for the leaders in our region. We ask you to pray for the heart revealed in these words to be built by the Spirit in each church member in order that they might be prepared for the tasks ahead:
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Pray with Thanksgiving…
We are thankful for the retreat this week that involved 16 leadership couple in a time of refreshment and encouragement on Keats Island with Gerry and Connie Taillon, our national leader.
We are thankful for two Korean churches that began this week exploring and praying about joining our family of churches.
We are thankful in the midst of chaos and pain in Nepal, Halley from Ekklesia has been able to reach the village where she now plans and extended service before returning home. The missionary couple and local pastor she will be serving have lost everything in the Earthquake. Please pray for these and many others who are experiencing this chaos to find comfort and the needed resources to help other.
We are thankful for the report from a mission team visiting our city last week who experienced one of their team members coming to Christ while serving with The Crossing. We are thankful also for the impact to their home church when they returned
Pray for the activity of God…
We are praying for the 11 women in ministry gathering at Rivendale Retreat Centre over the next couple of days. Pray God will use this private time to draw these leaders of our associational family into greater unity and strengthen their spiritual lives for the days of ministry ahead.
We are praying for the Advocates for our city as they gather May 6-7 to hear of the activity of God in our city and seek to discover ways they can encourage greater prayer and gather volunteers and resources.
We are praying for the final assessment of two church planter couples one of which is seeking to return to Quebec and another to the Fraser Valley to launch new churches.
We are praying for the final preparation of the volunteers coming to join our churches in conducting the Equip Worship Conference at the end of this month. We pray that each church in our region will be better prepared to serve on the worship teams of all of our churches. We ask for prayer for the anointing of the Spirit of God on each participant.
We are praying for the over 40 student volunteers who are coming this summer to learn and serve as they live a life on mission in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. This week begin praying for the places they will explore each day of their stay. Pray for our leaders as they select key places to share with the students.
