As you pray each day this week reflect on these words and pray these words into the lives of each of our leaders:
“and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”

We are praying for each pastor and planter and their families on this day. We are praying for the encouragement of the Spirit in times of loneliness and transition. We are praying for the development of long term friendships and support during times of crisis and conflict. We are praying for the unity to laugh and cry together as we grow in Christlikeness and go the next step on mission.
We are praying for the time and ministry of Dr. Dan Crawford as he visits and encourages leaders this week. We are thankful for the visits made by Paul Johnson of CNBC last week as he encouraged and listened to our families.
We are praying for the distribution of over 1000 copies of Advent devotionals that were given to our churches which will share the real message of Christ through the daily reading. Pray for the salvation of many and the transformation for every reader through the distribution planned for next month.
We are thankful for the gathering this past Friday night of messengers from 24 of our Churches at Royal Heights Baptist Church as we heard the activity of God in our association from Victoria and through the Lower Mainland. We adopted the annual budget and affirmed the leadership team for the coming year. Please pray for the Spirit of God to guide the team and our churches as we seek to be used to bring honour to Jesus and transformation of our city.
We are also thankful for the gathering of young people from several of our churches at Rock Solid this past Friday. We are thankful for the testimonies and message shared. We are praying for the continued growth in the life of each young person.
We are praying the Lord of the Harvest for workers from among our Korean and Chinese Churches who can be of help in partnership with churches in Edmonton and Calgary to strengthen the church plants seeking to reach those from the same ethnic communities.
We are praying for partnership to help Royal Heights in discovering and repairing the water leak as their building that has resulted in the formation of sink holes and has the potential of excessive water bills until discovered and repaired.
We are praying for the eleven church planters and their spouses who will be gathering at Harrison Hot Springs the next two days for a time of spiritual retreat and to build stronger relationships with leaders from Seattle and Vancouver. We are praying the Word of God and the Spirit of God will transform the time and provide guidance for each planter and spouse for the days that are ahead.
We are praying for the new Planter Assessment process which will begin next Wednesday as we will be assessing six couples for endorsement to plant in Vancouver, Seattle and Portland. We pray for clarity of understanding and discernment in the evaluation which will be conducted. We pray for the encouragement of the candidates and building of a fellowship of new leaders that can be launched from this time together.
We are praying for the ongoing follow-up with potential partners who are considering coming alongside some of our new plants to provide pray, manpower and financial support as they are building these new sites.
