As the pastoral leaders of our WBA churches in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island move into the week ahead pray this prayer of Paul would be answered in each life.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. 13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

 Colossians 1:9-14 (ESV)

We join Zendeh Church in praising the work of God:

“We had a full house party for the new year’s event. We had around 200 guests and many more on our waiting list. Thanks to the The First Baptist Church of Desloge Mission Team, we had a great event. We got a great feedback from our guests. We pray as we show the love of Christ to our community that we would build trust and opportunity to share the Gospel with them.”

Please pray for Conrad Au’s family as they process the news of the passing of one of his closest uncle, the older brother of his non-believing father, in Hong Kong, China today.
